The village Rapesh is situated on the eastern slopes of Selechka Мountain on altitude of 604 m. Road to the village is asphalt, then continues macadam road to the bridge on Black River, which flows nearby.

Around 1860 the church in the village was built, dedicated to St.Paraskeva and St.Demetrius, which during military activities at the very end of WWI (1918) was shelled and damaged.

The renovation of the church ends in 2005. Today about 50 residents live in the village. It is demographic miracle that 8 children were born in the past few years. Now another problem arise. How to educate the youngsters? The old school, which by telling of the grandfather Trajko Mitkovski (93 yr.) was built around 1934, has long been closed.
