Chanishte is located in Prilep 's Mariovo on the southwest side of territory of the Municipality of Vitolishte The village is hilly, at an altitude 720 meters. Area is large and occupies  36.7 km2  Arable land occupies 1627 ha. and pastures occupy 1565 ha. The village has a Crop - livestock function. It has agricultural cooperative and shop. Chanishte is populated by Macedonian population.
