Dunje located on the northwest side of the Prilep's  Mariovo in the Municipality of Vitoliste. The village is hilly, at an altitude of 690 meters. From the town of Prilep village is 29 km away. Area is very large and occupies an area of 43,8 km2.   Pastures occupy an area of 2487 ha , arable land occupy 1339.1 ha and the forest only 15.6 ha. The village has a Crop - livestock function. There is primary school up to IV grade, there is post office,  agricultural co-operative and store. As a matter of fact, from many villages in Mariovo and from Dunje a significant number of the population moved out.
