The village is settled on the eastern slopes of Selechka Mountain, on the right side of the road in so-called Small Mariovo on altitude of 713 m. According to the 2002 census, the village has only two inhabitants.

There is a church in the village, dedicated to St. Demetrius, built in 1887.

Brnik and Grunishta are the only villages that are not connected to the power grid.
